Main Street 2012 has changed considerably over the years. Most poignant is the barrier for cars. Imagine needing such a barrier! For so many years this little village knew no cars. The donkey-sized streets were donkey-sized for exactly that reason. When Chevi, the Nifi, married and lived her young life here, she saw only two cars pass through the town. And I, as a nifi in 1983 saw only a handful of cars pass by. But today, you would be hard pressed to find a parking space as cars line the streets of the village square.
